What Is Spam?
Spam is unsolicited email, also known as junk mail received via email, or UCE (Unsolicited Commercial Email). Virtually all of us have opened the inbox of an email account and found emails from an unknown sender. By sending email only to those who have requested to receive it, Bear-Hits follows accepted permission-based email guidelines.
What About The Laws Against Spam?
Anti-spam laws do exist. However, as with any body of laws, individual state spam statutes can vary widely. The spam laws of each state may differ in both scope and in how unsolicited commercial email is defined. In addition, various federal agencies, including the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), may be involved in spam enforcement.
At the federal level, the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003 established an attempt at a more unified approach to unsolicited commercial email. Even so, spam law enforcement can be inconsistent, which is why your own caution remains an important first line of defense. Beyond that, Bear-Hits helps protect you by ensuring that you remain in control of whether you receive email from us, as explained below.
Our No Tolerance Anti-Spam Policy
WE HAVE A NO TOLERANCE SPAM POLICY. We do not email anyone unless they have filled out an opt-in form or web form expressing an interest in our information, products, or services, or have otherwise directly and proactively requested it.
Information about the features and benefits of Membership is spread through advertising, joint venture marketing, and word of mouth, so we focus on building relationships only with people who wish to learn more about what we offer and who willingly subscribe to receive our content and email communication. You remain in control of whether you receive email communication from Bear-Hits and may terminate it at any time.
Note: Every auto-generated email contains a mandatory unsubscribe link that cannot be removed. Therefore, each communication generated by Bear-Hits includes the option to unsubscribe and never receive another email communication from Bear-Hits.

Bear-Hits may change this Anti-Spam Policy from time to time. If we make a change, we will update it on this page and revise the last updated date at the bottom of the page. We encourage you to return to this page periodically to review any updates or revisions.
