Collection of Personal Information
User-provided Information
Bear-Hits collects, uses, and stores information including your name, username, password, email address, and Internet Protocol (IP) address when you sign up in order to create an account for you.
We collect the email address and/or cryptocurrency address associated with any payments made and store the date, time, details of items purchased, and payment method used. We do not store any banking or payment details, as we use third-party processors to process transactions.
Automatically Collected Information
Bear-Hits collects usage habits that include a list of dates and times the site is accessed via login and the Internet Protocol (IP) addresses of account logins.
We use cookies and web beacons to provide information on how you use our web services and advertising products. These are collected and used by automated technologies to help ensure we provide the best experience to suit your needs.
Integrated / Third-Party Services
Other automated technologies that Bear-Hits uses include third-party widgets and plugins such as Facebook Like buttons and pop-up ad technologies to help ensure you see an advert once per session when applicable. That information is subject to the privacy policies of those providers.
How We Use the Information We Collect
We use the information that we collect in a variety of ways in providing the Service and operating our business, including the following:
Operations
We use account information (name, username, password, and Internet Protocol address) to provide a Members Area from which you can manage your advertising and store information about the ads you have purchased and have available, including account balances.
Improvements
We use information regarding transactions (date, time, email address used, purchased item information, and payment method used) to process your transactions and to keep a log of what you have purchased in case of discrepancies. We also use this information to see what items sell well and to improve our products and offerings.
Communications
We use your email address to validate and confirm that you are the account holder and so that you can click the opt-in verification link to give your approval for us to contact you via email. This helps us keep you informed, send details of purchases for your records, and verify the account holder for security reasons.
We may also promote other products and services, whether supplied by us or by third parties, via email, but we do so from emails sent directly from our own system only and do not share or distribute your email address with others.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Automated cookies and web beacons are used for tracking purposes to see where Members have come from and to keep session information so that certain ads are only delivered once per session and not on every page load.
To Whom We Disclose Information
We do not sell member information. We may allow third parties to advertise using our services, and we may promote other services to you via email, but those promotions are delivered from our own systems and no personal information is shared with them by us. You may share information with them if you join their site or purchase their services.
Service Providers
We may provide information including name, email address, and Internet Protocol (IP) address to payment processors and/or law enforcement if required by law or under the terms of purchasing through their services to help with investigations or lawful information requests.
We may use your information in our other businesses, but all communication will come through the account and system that you signed up for unless you separately register elsewhere and give permission there.
Any information collected by third-party apps or plugins, including but not limited to Facebook Like buttons, is collected from your interactions with those services and not from our system. Your use of those services is subject to their own privacy policies.
Change of Ownership
Should the website and/or business be sold, the information collected may be transferred to the new owner. However, it will remain within the operation of the site, and the new owner will be required to comply with this Privacy Policy until Users are notified of any changes.
Law Enforcement, Legal Process and Compliance
We may disclose Personal Data or other information if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with applicable laws, in response to valid court orders, subpoenas, warrants, or other lawful governmental requests.
We also reserve the right to disclose Personal Data or other information that we believe in good faith is appropriate or necessary to take precautions against liability, protect ourselves or others from fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful activity, investigate and defend against third-party claims, protect the security or integrity of the Service, or protect our property and legal rights.
Your Choices
Your Options & Acceptance
You stated that you read and agreed to the Terms of Service when you checked or ticked the box indicating your agreement. Part of that agreement includes acceptance of this Privacy Policy.
You are also required to complete double opt-in to our Mail & Newsletter Service by clicking the confirmation link in the verification email we send. Failure to verify within 5 days will result in account deletion and erasure of held information.

Your Right To View, Edit & Delete Personal Information
At any time, you may view or edit account information including email address, name, and password by logging in to the Bear-Hits Members Area and using your Profile Page.
You can also delete your account at any time from the Delete Account button on the Profile Page. This removes the information we hold except for purchase logs that are retained for accounting and tax purposes only.
You may also request to see the information we hold for you, but we will require proof of identification before providing it. This is done for privacy and security reasons.
To request the information we retain on you or to ask us to delete or edit your information, please submit a GDPR & Privacy Data Request Ticket using the same email address and name registered on your account.
You can request your password at any time using the Password Retrieval link on the login page. For security reasons, passwords are encrypted and our staff do not have access to them.
Third-Party Services
We promote and link to other third-party websites and services. When visiting or using one of those websites or services, you should review their own privacy policies and Terms of Service. Bear-Hits is not responsible for the policies and practices of any third-party service or site.

Data Retention
We retain Personal Data collected from a User for as long as the User's account is active or otherwise for a limited period as needed to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, unless a longer period is required by law.

- the contents of closed accounts may be deleted when the account is closed;
- backups may be retained for approximately 1 month.
